Alec Stapp
Alec Stapp was the director of technology policy at PPI. His work focuses on regulatory issues related to tech, including antitrust, privacy, and content moderation.
His commentary has been published in MIT Technology Review, Politico, and Salon. He has also been cited in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, and the Washington Post. Previously, Alec worked as a research fellow at the International Center for Law & Economics and as a technology policy fellow at the Niskanen Center. He holds an MA in economics from George Mason University and a BSBA in economics from the University of Arizona
